Real Connection. Real Play. Real Progress.

At Your Side Quest, we use gaming as a gateway, not just to fun, but to meaningful connection, emotional growth, and real-world skills.
No pressure to talk. No scripts. No fixing.
Just side-by-side play with a trained support worker who gets it.

Games We Use

We play with purpose, choosing games that suit your goals, interests, and comfort zone. Some of our most popular titles:
  • Minecraft – creative, calm, and perfect for social play
  • Roblox – versatile and playful with lots of co-op options
  • Fortnite – action-packed, great for teamwork and resilience
  • Sackboy / Hot Wheels – fun, light-hearted co-op experiences
  • 18+ Games – available only for adults (strict age checks in place)
We always adapt gameplay to meet your pace and needs. No surprises, no pressure.

Who It’s For

We support:
  • Young people (8+) navigating friendships, school stress, or life transitions
  • Neurodivergent individuals seeking connection without masking or social scripts
  • Adults managing burnout, anxiety, or who just need a non-clinical space to decompress
  • Ex-military clients adjusting to civilian life, loneliness, or identity changes
  • Parents/carers looking for meaningful support for their child that actually works
No diagnosis needed. No labels required. Just curiosity, honesty, and a desire for support.

What a Session Looks Like

A typical 45–60 minute session includes:
  • Logging in with your regular support worker
  • Co-playing in a chosen game
  • Light structure, reflection, and skill-building woven into play
  • No forced talking, just natural conversation (or quiet comfort)
At the end, we do a mini check-in: what felt good, what was tricky, and what you want next time.

Behind the Scenes

  • Regular 6–12 week reviews to track progress
  • Optional parent/carer updates (only with consent)
  • Referral support if therapy is needed later
  • Professional supervision to keep our work safe and high-quality
We keep things consistent, clear, and emotionally safe, always working within our role as support workers, not therapists.

The Benefits of Gaming Support

  • Boosts confidence and social comfort
  • Builds emotional awareness and regulation
  • Encourages communication and co-operation
  • Offers emotional safety and consistent support
  • Helps people set and reach their own goals (even small ones count!)
  • Creates a relationship that feels human, not clinical
